The enterprise has the rich history numbering already more of 110 years. The factory has been based in 1886 by brothers Classen in city Melitopol, on Ukraine.
"Melitopolprodmash" - the specialized enterprise on issue of the process equipment for a food-processing industry, one of the most oldest enterprises in system of mechanical engineering of Ukraine. At the end of the last century the machine works of brothers Classen had small production facilities, but, since 30th years of XX century volume of production of factory (elevator equipment) the beginnings sharply to increase. |

In post-war time, and also production of the equipment which was delivered in many cities of the former USSR has been based on Cuba, to Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary, Mongolia, Poland, Czechoslovakia, Afghanistan, Africa and Baltic. "Melitopolprodmash" is proud of kind tradition of long-term cooperation to countries of near and far foreign countries. The factory has been based in 1886 and intended for issue of agricultural machines and agricultural instruments. Since 1926 the factory has passed on issue elevator equipment, and from the beginning of 1947 the factory has completely trained for a new profession on issue of the washing, filling and capping equipment for a food-processing industry. |

| During 50 years the enterprise is engaged in designing, development and production of the complete set of the process equipment in a line of flood beer, water, wine, vodka, silent and sparkling wines, milk food, juices and vegetable oil in glass and plastic container. | ||||||

In 1998 by the complete repayment of state property organization of leasers "Melitopolprodmash" had been framed open joint-stock company "Melitopolprodmash". Shares of a state ownership in the Authorized capital of Company are not present. |
